Line Up: Union of Original Works Creators

So, buenas, I'm Calido Kei.

The 4-type diagnosis by Okada Toshio is said to be a very useful communication support tool! It seems that it can also be used to imagine or analyze the relationships of anime characters in both original and derivative works. I'll talk about this later.

By the way, I will be participating in the online event Union of Original Works Creators which will be held soon!
... Well, to be honest, I forgot that I was going to participate. I'm really sorry for the short notice.

I like Toshio Okada's four type diagnosis too much

I found this on YouTube the other day...
Tools to facilitate communication by dividing human desires into four types. These are the four types.

They can be divided as follows:

King Type:
The keyword is "friendship". An extroverted and abstract type.
They are happy that everyone gets along. Many people give the impression of being flamboyant.
They tend to wear funny fashions, but they don't mind because they are happy to talk about themselves.
Akashiya Sanma, Toshio Okada himself, Erica Fontaine (Sakura Wars), Hikari Netto (Rockman EXE) belong to this type.

Soldier Type:
The keyword is "victory". An extroverted type that emphasizes specificity.
They are all confrontational at work, in love and at home. They are also concerned about social status and hierarchy.
They fashion themselves in a way that emphasises their physical strengths. i.e. if a woman has large breasts, they emphasise them.
Horie Takafumi, DaiGo, Atsuhiko Nakata, Raika (Rockman EXE), and Glycine Bluemel (Sakura Wars) belong to this type.

Creator Type:
The keyword is "truth". An introverted and abstract type.
They pursue their own ideals so much that they have only a master, a disciple and enemies around them, even if they spend their whole lives pursuing them. Often, they are prone to the idea that this is the way people should be.
This type prefers fashion that is unique to them and is truly fashionable. *Okada says: ‘You should know when you distinguish between the creator type as “fashionable” and the king type as “funny”’.
Miyazaki Hayao, Tezuka Osamu, Iwamoto Kodo (Recommendation from Mr. Iwamoto), and Kanzaki Sumire (Sakura Wars) belong to this type.

Researcher Type:
The keyword is "freedom" and they are not even aware of it.
They have a desire to find out the reason for everything, and if they don't like themselves, it is all right if they know why. They want to live with 50% to 60% energy savings.
They prefer a sober, rational fashion style, which Okada has named urban camouflage.
Nishimura Hiroyuki, Morinaga Takuro, Ikegami Akira, Ijuin Enzan (Rockman EXE), and Leni Milchstrasse (Sakura Wars) belong to this type.

The diagnosis can be done here. I took the test and I was a researcher type.
I can definitely relate to Hiroyuki's stance of "let's live with energy savings". I also like rational clothing and seek freedom.
The researcher type envies the creator type, while at the same time looks down on the soldier type. In "Recommendation from Mr. Iwamoto", I like Mr. Iwamoto the most, and I want to support him in his pursuit of an ideal future. On the other hand, I remember feeling a bit looked down upon by Raika's initial line "I value discipline" in episode 40 of Rockman EXE AXESS. I thought to myself, "Isn't there something more important than following orders?" In the end, he breaks the order later on. Also, while I think Erica is a cute girl, but I feel like she would be annoying if we were together in real life, but that's just because it's over the screen...

Among the real-life figures mentioned above, I think Miyazaki Hayao's attitude of creating what he wants to create is wonderful, and Tezuka Osamu's attitude that ‘manga is freedom of expression’ is also wonderful. On the other hand, I am somewhat uncomfortable with Horie Takafumi, DaiGo and Nakata Atsuhiko.

I will share a video for a detailed explanation, which you can watch (as usual, I am not paid).
