Mikasa: Memorial Ship Form
Mikasa (ideal seiyuu: Hiro Yuuki) was a battleship built in Britain and registered with the Imperial Japanese Navy.
This appearance is the formal dress of the world's three most important memorial ships and is known as the “Oureisoushi”(桜麗装士). The name was given by the Prime Minister at the time, Hayato Ikeda, when Mikasa was restored to its original appearance. The current design was updated in 2019, when the era name was changed to Reiwa (令和).
Unlike his uniform and civilian clothes, he wears a loose-fitting kimono. Underneath the kimono is a cyber suit covering his from neck to toes, from which he wears futuristically designed knee-high boots suspended by a garter belt. The garter belt can be glimpsed through a gap in his hakama at the waist. He wears a bell in his hair to appease the spirits of heroes who fought with him and were scattered among them.
In this form, for some reason, the first person becomes “wagahai” (我が輩).
